Story Time,
In 2013 when I started my career as an Esthetician at a large waxing franchise I was desperate to make every dollar I could. Since I was working at a large franchise there were a lot of newly hired estheticians and not enough new clients to go around.
This meant that I had to make the most out of each client I was given.
I started setting daily goals for myself, from service sales to product sales, pre-booking and even daily goals to get more reviews. In addition to setting those goals I would also closely track the amount of money I was receiving via tips etc.
I didn’t realize this at the time but I was choosing to focus on what I wanted more of.
I was choosing to focus on how to make the most out of the clients I did have.
Fast forward around 3 months and I was the most booked esthetician in my center. Fast forward another few months and I was the top esthetician in a franchise that at the time employees 10,000 employees. My service sales, product sales and pre book were all ranked at the top of the entire company.
My employers started asking me what I was doing and I explained to them my Planner Method that I have now re-named to Beauty Business Planner.
As a center, my employers started asking all the estheticians to follow my lead and use the method that I had been using. That was the first year ever (after 5 years) that my center was able to make over 7 figures in one year.
In April of 2016 when I started my own business, I was able to make a little over $100k in the first 9 months of working for myself.
